About this Dish
Fura da Nono is an iconic traditional beverage and meal originating from the pastoralist Fulani communities. Fura consists of seasoned, cooked millet paste rolled into firm balls infused with black pepper, cloves, and ginger, crushed and whisked into cold, tangy, naturally fermented raw cow's milk (Nono).
